How did you become a financial advisor?

My journey as a financial advisor came from a deep-rooted passion for serving others. Realizing the positive impact I could have on those around me by helping them save for their future, grow and protect their assets and then ultimately, enabling them to give back through philanthropy, I knew that this was the career for me.

I have been an advisor for over seven years, starting as an Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor in 2018 at Merrill Lynch where I partnered with a team of experts to provide comprehensive financial planning guidance to clients. From there, I moved to  start a brand new Wealth Management division of the CPA firm Baldwin CPAs and Kuttin Wealth Management. When I was there, I oversaw the creation of a family office-like firm where a client could receive both expert tax advice and financial planning advice. Next, I joined a local registered investment adviser that worked almost exclusively with professional athletes providing family office services as well. My diverse experience collaborating with various clients and implementing unique strategies has equipped me well for my transition to Savvy, where I aim to establish my own advising practice with Savvy.
