Gabe Boruff
Hi 👋🏼 I’m Gabe. I’m a financial advisor based in the Tri-Cities, Washington, and I work with individuals, families, high-net-worth clients, and small business owners on financial planning, retirement planning, investment management, and other important financial decisions.
My background as a collegiate and professional baseball player and later as a collegiate coach continues to shape how I work with clients today. Coaching taught me to listen closely, understand someone’s goals, create a plan, and provide steady guidance along the way. I bring that same relationship-focused approach to financial planning, with an emphasis on clear communication and service.
“I focus on getting to know my clients, understanding what matters to them, and creating a financial plan that reflects their needs and goals. My background in coaching influences how I communicate, guide, and support clients throughout the process.”

Get to know Gabe
Gabe Boruff brings a background in athletics, coaching, and financial services to his work with clients. Before focusing his career on financial advice, Gabe played collegiate and professional baseball through his mid-20s. He then spent more than a decade coaching baseball at the collegiate level.
While coaching, Gabe also worked alongside his father as a financial consultant. That experience introduced him to financial services and gave him an opportunity to see how thoughtful guidance could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
After the birth of his third child, Gabe wanted a career that would allow him to spend more time at home with his family. He transitioned back into financial services and became a financial advisor at Edward Jones. In 2019, he joined Integrity Financial, where he spent the following years working alongside other advisors and continuing to develop his planning approach.
Gabe credits his baseball background with shaping many of the values he brings to his practice. Playing taught him the importance of discipline, persistence, and preparation. Coaching taught him how important strong relationships, communication, and trust are when helping someone work toward a goal. Today, he brings those lessons into each client relationship.
Gabe has lived in the Tri-Cities, Washington, since 2013 with his wife, Erika, a second-grade teacher, and their three children. Outside of work, family remains an important part of his life, and he enjoys supporting his children in their academics, sports, and music.

My path into financial services started while I was coaching collegiate baseball. I needed additional income at the time, so I began working alongside my father as a financial consultant at his agency.
After my third child was born, I wanted to be home more and have greater flexibility to be present for my family. That led me back into financial services full time, and I became a financial advisor at Edward Jones. In 2019, I joined Integrity Financial, where I had the opportunity to work at a boutique practice alongside talented advisors who helped me continue developing my skills and approach.
My experience as both a player and a coach still influences the way I work today. I learned the importance of preparation, discipline, communication, and building relationships, and I bring those principles into my work with clients.
My primary areas of focus include financial and retirement planning, business retirement plan management and strategies, investment management, and life insurance planning.
I also work with clients who are considering real estate exchange strategies, including 1031 exchanges, 721 exchanges, and Delaware Statutory Trusts, depending on their circumstances and planning needs.
I work with high-net-worth clients, small business owners, families, and individuals. While each client’s financial situation is different, I enjoy working with people who value a personal relationship with their advisor and want thoughtful guidance as they make financial decisions.
I focus on tax planning and optimization because they are crucial aspects to consider when managing your finances. By strategizing efficient ways to minimize tax liabilities and maximize savings, my clients can plan for the future. Additionally, I also help clients with retirement planning, Investment management, and cash flow planning because they are essential for maintaining a healthy financial balance.
I often help clients develop financial planning and retirement strategies based on their individual goals. For business owners, that may include retirement plan management and planning. I also work with clients on investment strategies, life insurance and annuity considerations, and certain real estate exchange strategies.
The starting point is understanding what the client is trying to accomplish. From there, I work to organize the different pieces of their financial life into a plan they can understand and follow.
I believe my background as a coach has had a significant influence on how I work with clients. A good coach needs to listen, understand what someone is trying to accomplish, develop a plan, communicate clearly, and provide guidance as circumstances change.
I bring that same mindset to financial planning. I take time to understand my clients and build relationships based on trust and service. My goal is to make sure the plan reflects the person and family behind the numbers.
I really enjoy getting to know my clients and their families. Over time, those relationships give me a deeper understanding of what matters to them and what they are working toward.
It is rewarding to provide guidance and motivation as clients make progress toward their financial goals. For me, the relationship is an important part of the work, not just the plan itself.
What stood out to me from day one was the depth of support available through Savvy. I have access to people who can assist with client onboarding, technology implementation, investment strategies, retirement plans, and marketing, which allows me to spend more of my time focused on clients.
I also appreciate having integrated technology available to both advisors and clients, along with access to a range of investment strategies and resources that can support the planning process. The combination of technology, investment resources, and operational support gives me additional tools to serve clients while continuing to build my practice.
