Ritik Malhotra is a repeat technical founder with two prior exits (one to Box in 2014 and one to Brex in 2019). Most recently he was Director of Product Management at Brex where he started and built Brex Cash, Brex’s second business line after the corporate card. He’s now building Savvy, a tech-enabled wealth management firm. Ritik is a Y Combinator and Thiel Fellowship alum and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from UC Berkeley.

Amir Har-El leads Operations at Savvy, bringing with him over a decade of experience operating and leading teams at high-growth technology companies. Prior to joining Savvy, Amir led revenue growth and profitability efforts at DoorDash and portfolio strategy initiatives at Marcus by Goldman Sachs. Amir began his career as a proprietary equities trader, focusing on US and Canadian markets.

Amir received his B.S. from the University of Maryland and his MBA from NYU Stern, where he was a Harvey Beker and Money Marketeers Scholar. Amir lives in Larchmont, NY with his wife and two kids.

His specialities and expertise are in go-to-market strategy, product marketing, and demand generation, which he's used to launch and scale multiple successful technology products. An avid sneaker collector, halfway decent tennis player, and airline points & miles geek, Rajat is always on the hunt for the next sneaker release and loves "travel hacking" in his free time.

John Khoury is a Principal Wealth Manager at Savvy and brings 20+ years of wealth management experience working with families, business owners, and organizations. He has a passion for providing fiduciary advice for his clients and helping them with complex wealth management. He specializes in transitions, such as retirement, business sales or other liquidity events, paying for college, divorce, and loss of a loved one. 

Joining Savvy in November 2023, John was VP Sr. Financial Consultant at Schwab for 15 years and VP Financial Consultant at Fidelity for 8 years. At Schwab, John worked with 400 high net worth families and organizations, with over $300M in advisory services.

John Khoury lives in Boston Metrowest with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys sports, family time, and volunteering with his local educational and charitable organizations.

Nathan Wallace

Nathan brings 15+ years of investment experience to Savvy. He began his career as a research analyst at a boutique quantitative equity management firm, where he helped research and implement new factors to drive portfolio performance. During that time, he entered the institutional consulting field and helped plan and implement portfolio strategies for multiple pension funds across the west coast of the United States.

In 2013 Nathan founded Greyfox Investors, with the goal of providing intelligent, approachable wealth management strategies for families, nonprofits and institutions. Nathan is particularly passionate about providing ESG focused solutions to clients and helping align investments with his clients’ ethics.

Nathan lives in southern California with his three children and two dogs. A true outdoorsman and philanthropist, he spends his time outside of work camping, skiing, and volunteering his time with a variety of educational and environmental non-profits.

Maya Joelson

Principal Wealth Manager, Global Investment Strategist

Marisa Joelson (known as Maya) is Founding Principal Wealth Manager and Global Investment Strategist at Savvy. Maya has two decades of experience advising CEOs, technology executives, hedge fund managers, families, and individuals on their investment decisions. Her differentiated ideas have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and at the World Economic Forum. 

 

Maya worked for the #1 Institutional Investor equity research analyst team on Wall Street covering US retail before moving to London where she focused on emerging markets. In London, she worked at Renaissance Capital and advised the world’s leading mutual fund and hedge fund managers, including Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, on their investments in Emerging Europe and Africa. She later became the macroeconomist and financial market advisor to Rio Tinto, the second largest mining firm in the world. In this role, she provided global insight to the CEO on economies and financial and commodity markets including China, India, Japan, Chile, USA, and Europe. 

While at Harvard in 2004, she wrote the first paper for the World Economic Forum on the business case for corporations to advance women and diverse talent. Her paper in 2004 was presented at Davos to 100 CEOs and spurred the start of WEF highly regarded Gender Programme to track how nations fare in capturing the talent of half their population. Later, McKinsey, Credit Suisse, UBS and other major corporations followed suit to develop research and statistics to show that gender balanced and diverse teams lead to better financial performance and reduced groupthink.

Dan Perrino

Dan is originally from the Chicagoland area and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University in Bronx, NY. Following graduation, Dan moved back to Chicago and joined Eze Software Group, a FinTech company that delivers execution and order management software to institutional trade desks. At Eze, Dan worked closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Head Traders, Portfolio Managers, and Compliance officers to design and implement trade execution order flows. After four years working with Eze, Dan moved to Bellingham, WA with his now wife, Jess and joined a local Merrill Lynch office where he obtained his Series 7, Series 66, and Insurance Producers licenses and practiced as a Financial Advisor.

In 2019, Dan transitioned to LPL Financial & Clarity Capital Management where he continued to practice as a Financial Advisor in Bellingham, WA until joining the Savvy Wealth Management Team in August, 2022. Dan aims to help clients achieve their financial goals by delivering highly customized investment strategies & financial plans. Meet Ryan Bond, a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) with a passion for helping clients achieve financial success and lead fulfilling lives. Ryan is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and earned his Bachelor's of Science from the University of Delaware where he was a triple major. Following graduation, Ryan moved to West Chester, PA to join Vanguard within their Accelerated Advisor Development program. Ryan got his 7 and 66 as well as the CFP® within months of graduating. 

After several years with Vanguard, Ryan joined Personal Capital (now Empower) in January 2021 as a senior advisor where he managed a book of business of 300 clients with over $430M in AUM. Drawing on a wealth of experience as a financial advisor, Ryan specializes in a holistic approach to financial planning, addressing various aspects of his clients' lives. His expertise spans across tax planning, estate planning, investment management, insurance planning, retirement planning, as well as options and equity awards planning. 

Ryan joined Savvy Wealth in August 2023, to allow further customization of his client portfolios and to be part of an exciting tech enabled platform that is paving the path for advisory relationships. With a deep-rooted passion for service and enriching the lives of others, Eric found his calling as a wealth management professional early on. Eric brings 22+ years of experience working closely with business owners, individuals and families in transition, helping them navigate difficult changes. Compassion is important to Eric, and his goal is to help clients who are going through a divorce or grieving the loss of a spouse or family member get through the transition to financial independence and overcome new challenges with confidence. He also helps business owners and professionals nearing retirement to be best prepared for their ideal retirement lifestyle.

At Savvy, he strives to help his clients align their money with their values, provide integrated solutions to serve all of their financial needs, and empower them to make a lifetime of smart financial decisions. Importantly, Eric is committed to keeping his clients’ best interests top of mind while offering ongoing guidance, encouragement and accountability.

Brent brings 15+ years of financial planning, investment and insurance experience to Savvy.  He is passionate about helping clients align their financial goals and aspirations with the right strategies to help them plan for the future and remove financial roadblocks. Brent enjoys building existing and new relationships with his clients by analyzing and developing financial forecasts with actionable plans to guide them through their wealth management, including retirement, investment, risk management, lending, banking, and business and multi-generational planning. Using an educational approach, he encourages clients to ask questions as we work together to design a plan for their financial future.

Brent is a long-time resident of Northern Kentucky & Greater Cincinnati with his wife Nikki and three children.  He is committed to giving back to the community through service as a member of the Northern Kentucky Estate Planning Council and Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and serves on the St. Elizabeth Foundation Board. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, coaching and playing soccer, golf, tennis, backpacking, and traveling.

Frank Remund

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and an Enrolled Agent authorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service, Frank provides tax guidance to clients as part of his advisory relationship. Frank Remund grew up in southwest Washington as the youngest of three children in a highly competitive family. From a young age, he learned that knowledge, planning, and hard work are the keys to success, and that listening is crucial.

Frank's interest in investing was kindled as a child when he was gifted a few shares of stock. This initial curiosity has since matured into a lifelong passion. After graduating from high school, Frank was accepted into the University of Washington. There, he pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics while also competing on the Huskies’ track and field team as a high jumper and serving as the team captain. The fundamental lessons that Frank learned during his upbringing have been instrumental throughout his professional journey. They have enabled him to establish strong, personal relationships with his clients, understand their priorities, and develop personalized financial plans that secure their financial success.

Erich Yost, CFA is a Principal Wealth Advisor at Savvy Wealth.  Erich joined the firm after 12 years as a key member of an investment team at Veritable managing $2.5+ billion for ultra high net worth families.  He enjoys solving complex financial issues for his clients and is passionate about making the puzzling world of investing both approachable and understandable.  By simplifying this part of his clients’ lives, he provides them with freedom to focus on what really matters.

Erich aims to ensure his clients’ families are well positioned for financial and investing success into the future by actively engaging with the next generation.  By building relationships and actively collaborating with clients’ children, he has found the entire family gains an important sense of comfort that they can handle anything thrown their way.
