Everything handled. Nothing left to chance.

The process

Built to move as fast as you do

Most firms start after you sign. Savvy starts before.

Before you sign

Know what’s portable before you commit

Before you sign, we review your Broker Protocol status and non-compete (if applicable), then map which clients you can contact and what data comes with you. You get a compliant plan for your book, plus intros to advisors who left firms like yours.

Contract signed

We get to work before you arrive

Your tech stack provisioned, U4 and Form ADV filed, Schwab or Fidelity registration submitted, and your laptop shipped pre-configured. All before your start date.

Your first days

A handoff your clients barely notice

Pre-loaded client data, approved outreach templates, and a Client Service Associate on every document. The move stays invisible to your clients, and your book comes with you intact.

steady state

Support that doesn't stop

Your Advisor Experience Manager owns the relationship: check-ins, office hours, growth conversations. Plus, you can lean on our network of advisors who have been in your shoes.

The technology

Your platform and custodian, moved for you

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat.

We set it up, then walk you through it

Everything is configured before you arrive. Savvy Intelligence, your dashboard, reporting, and workflows are live on day one, with your Onboarding Manager guiding you through each one.

A custodian transfer handled end to end

We prep and submit your Schwab and Fidelity packages and manage the ACATS transfer. You review and sign; we handle the rest.

"We joined when a lot of advisors were joining, and there was a real focus on getting us up to speed fast. The team had quick turnarounds on questions and a true desire to make the transition smooth for us and our clients."

Susan Jones
Co-Founder, Sorelle Wealth Partners - Powered by Savvy

"The vast majority of our book of business moved within a month. Clients loved it, especially coming from where we were — a very siloed, paper-driven process. This was so electronic the clients were shocked."

Chris Benda
Founder, Benda & Co. Private Wealth - Powered by Savvy

"What would I tell an advisor thinking about moving to Savvy? Do it. Simple as that. None of the advisors I talked to who were nervous about the move regret it. Myself included."

FAQ

What if I'm coming from a wirehouse with non-solicitation restrictions?

We've done this before. Savvy works with advisors navigating non-solicitation agreements and provides transition support, including resources for legal guidance, to help you move thoughtfully within your obligations. The approach is advisor-led, and the timeline is yours to set.

What happens to my existing client portfolios?

You set the pace. The investment team meets with you before and after joining to map out exactly how your book will be handled. You can keep existing allocations in place while you settle in and transition clients when you're ready.

What does "100% client retention" actually mean?

That figure applies to advisors who own their book — fully independent RIAs and breakaway advisors transitioning their own clients. For advisors coming from wirehouse or captive environments, retention depends on individual circumstances and client relationships. We'll give you a realistic picture for your specific situation on a transition call.

How long does the transition actually take?

Most advisors are fully operational within one to four weeks of their start date. The pre-start setup — filings, tech provisioning, client data prep — happens in parallel, so there's no waiting around once you go live. Wirehouse transitions follow a phased timeline that varies by individual circumstances.

Is there support after the transition is over?

Yes. Your Advisor Experience Manager is introduced during onboarding and stays with you long after go-live — quarterly check-ins, practice questions, and ongoing support. The transition team hands off; the relationship doesn't.
