Greg Allen, CEPA®
I’m Greg Allen, CEPA®, Founding Partner and Wealth Advisor at Wealth Haus. I spent the first portion of my career in my family’s real estate and development business, where I learned firsthand what it means to build something from the ground up. When the Great Recession hit in 2008, I realized how little I knew about the financial markets and the impact they could have on families, businesses, and long-term wealth. That realization created a pull toward financial planning and wealth management that ultimately changed the course of my career.
Over the last 14 years, I’ve built an advisory practice rooted in the needs I saw within my own family’s life and business. Today, I work with business owners, entrepreneurs, and families who want thoughtful guidance from someone who understands both the opportunities and pressures that come with building wealth in the real world.
"Trust is the most important currency we deal in. My clients become like family — and I treat their plan the way I'd want someone to treat mine."
Our Team
Wealth Haus began with two friends, two financial advisors, and a short walk between two houses. That walk became a well-worn path, and eventually, the foundation for a boutique wealth management firm built on the belief that great financial planning starts with great relationships. Today, our team helps families and business owners across the greater Indianapolis area craft financial blueprints as intentional and personal as the lives they're designed to support.

Get to know Greg
Greg Allen is a Founding Partner and Wealth Advisor at Wealth Haus, where he combines a 14-year career in financial advice with a lifetime in real estate development and small-business ownership. Greg co-founded Wealth Haus with his longtime friend and neighbor Clint Heisler, the two of them, both financial advisors, lived just two houses apart, and that short walk between their homes became the foundation for the firm.
Greg started his career in his father's real estate and construction business, where he is still an owner. After nearly a decade learning the ins and outs of residential and commercial development, Greg transitioned into wealth management with the goal of bringing the rigor and discipline he'd learned in real estate to the way families and business owners plan their financial lives. Putting his own family's business through a complex estate tax avoidance strategy shaped his deep conviction that this work isn't just about numbers…”it's about relationships, trust, and legacy”.
Greg holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation. Outside of the firm, he serves on the Economic Development Advisory Council for Aspire Johnson County, co-chairs the Franciscan Alliance Foundation Board of Directors, and coaches youth basketball and baseball, in the Center Grove community. He and his wife Sarah live in Center Grove, Indiana, with their four children: Ava, Greggy (G3), Audrey, and Ralphy. In his spare time, Greg golfs, works out, and is widely recognized for his arsenal of dad jokes.

I came into the wealth management business through real estate. My family has been developing property in the Indianapolis area for over 40 years, and I worked in our family business for about nine years before transitioning into finance. The thing that pushed me over the edge was guiding our own business through a rigorous estate planning process…I saw firsthand how much clarity, peace of mind, and family unity comes out of that work. I realized I wanted to do that for other families and business owners. Today, I get to help clients do the kind of intentional planning that I know from personal experience…actually changes outcomes.
I work primarily with business owners, entrepreneurs, hardworking families, and retirees - particularly people who are navigating a transition. That might be selling a business, planning succession, moving from accumulation into retirement, or thinking through a multigenerational wealth transfer. The common denominator is that they have real complexity and they want a partner who genuinely understands what it's like to build, own, and protect something meaningful.
My specialties are planning income distribution strategies for retirees, investment real estate, and multigenerational wealth transfer. I also bring deep experience in capital raising and syndication on the real estate side, and through Savvy I'm able to integrate private market investments and alternative strategies that aren't typically available through most firms.
Income distribution planning is a huge part of what I do - helping clients transition from a lifestyle built on accumulation to one that relies on their investments to generate recurring income. I also help business owners plan exits and succession events in a tax-efficient way, structure estates so wealth transfers cleanly across generations, and incorporate real estate and private market investments where they fit a client's overall plan.
Two things. First, I'm an active business owner myself, so when a client tells me they're worried about taking chips off the table, building a successor, or stepping back without losing their identity, I get it. Second, my real estate background means I can bring opportunities and perspective other wealth advisors can't. But the bigger differentiator is honestly just how I show up: trust is the most important currency we deal in, my clients become like family, and I keep an open-door policy. Financial planning can…and should…be enjoyable. (Yes, you'll get a few dad jokes in our meetings.)
The relationships. I really do mean it when I say my clients become like family. The best part of this job is being the person someone calls when they're navigating a major life event - a sale, a retirement, a generational transfer, and getting to walk through it with them. Quoting Hannibal from the A-Team: "I love it when a plan comes together." That feeling, when years of work pay off for a family I care about, is what I get out of bed for.
I joined Savvy because the platform unlocks things I simply couldn't do for clients before. Most importantly, it lets me bring my real estate and private market expertise into the wealth management relationship, clients can now access alternative investments and syndicated deals, without having to go to a different firm to get it. Savvy also gives us modern technology, dedicated back-office support, and a fee-for-advice model that's fully aligned with the client. That's the future of this industry, and I'm glad to be building it with a firm that's leaning into it.
