How did you become a financial advisor?

I’ve always been drawn to analytical work and originally imagined becoming a math teacher. Over time, I discovered financial planning offered the same opportunity to solve problems and help others understand complex concepts. Today, I still see myself as an educator, helping clients make sense of the decisions that shape their financial lives.

What types of clients do you work with?

I primarily work with successful professionals, doctors, tech executives and business owners earning over $300,000 per year with at least $1M saved. Many are looking for guidance on how to turn their assets into a sustainable income stream while navigating tax considerations and long-term planning decisions.

What areas of expertise do you have?

My work focuses on retirement income planning, tax planning strategies such as Roth conversions and withdrawal sequencing, Social Security timing, and coordinating investment decisions with broader financial goals. I also support clients with managing concentrated stock positions and thinking through legacy planning.

What types of strategies do you usually help clients with?

I help clients develop structured retirement income plans that map out how and when to draw from different accounts. This includes coordinating taxable, tax-deferred, and Roth assets, planning for healthcare costs, and integrating tax strategies throughout the year. I also work closely with other professionals to ensure each part of the plan is aligned and implemented effectively.

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart?

Many clients come from either an investment-focused experience or a planning experience that stops at recommendations. My approach combines both. I start with a comprehensive strategy and then stay involved through implementation, coordinating each step so decisions are made in the right sequence and with full context.

What is your favorite part about working with clients?

I enjoy the process of solving the puzzle each client presents. Every situation is different, and building a plan that reflects someone’s goals, values, and lifestyle is both challenging and rewarding. Seeing clients step confidently into retirement after years of preparation is especially meaningful.
