How did you become a financial advisor?

My career began 20 years ago, after learning about compounding interest in my college finance classes. It might sound a bit nerdy, but to me, it revealed that anyone, regardless of income, could build significant savings over time. All it takes is patience and discipline. This experience inspired me to dive into the world of financial planning.

What types of clients do you work with?

I work with a range of clients, specifically business owners and pre and post retirees, however, most of my clients could be considered philanthropic business owners preparing for an exit. I also enjoy working with individuals from various generations and all walks of life, looking to find efficient ways to help them achieve their financial goals.

What areas of expertise do you have?

My background spans philanthropic planning to charitable giving, both allowing clients to make a meaningful impact while maximizing tax benefits and creating a legacy that aligns with their values and financial goals. I also have a strong focus on business exit planning in my practice, where I help clients build a succession plan that encompasses the right strategies depending on their needs.

What types of strategies do you usually help clients with?

As an advisor who focuses on business exit planning, succession planning is a common area I work on with my clients. Business succession comes with complex financial considerations, but I work closely with my clients to explore and implement strategies that help refine their plans.

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart?

Clients often turn to me for guidance on navigating complex decisions and challenges. My approach is rooted in philanthropic and business exit planning, utilizing strategies specifically tailored to a client’s unique circumstances.

What is your favorite part about working with clients?

My favorite part of working with my clients is building lifelong relationships that extend far beyond just managing their wealth. I find it fulfilling to be a trusted partner in their journey, helping them navigate major life milestones. Being there to celebrate their successes and providing guidance during challenges is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
