How did you become a financial advisor?

I became a financial advisor in 2009, during the heart of the Great Financial Crisis, driven by a deeply personal mission. Growing up in a family that didn’t understand money and investing, I saw firsthand how a lack of financial knowledge could lead to a lifetime of insecurity. In college, after accumulating significant debt, I recognized I was following a similar path. I knew that I needed to change my relationship with money, and I wanted to help others who faced a similar struggle.

What types of clients do you work with?

While I am happy to help anyone in need of financial planning, my practice primarily focuses on two client groups. The first are individuals in the mid-career and late-career stages of life who are preparing for retirement and seeking clarity around their long-term goals. The second are personal injury attorneys, who often face unique financial circumstances and benefit from specialized strategies tailored to their profession.

What areas of expertise do you have?

My expertise spans several key areas of wealth management, including financial planning, retirement planning, and tax optimization. I also specialize in business succession planning, cash-flow management, and estate and legacy planning. Whether it’s developing a roadmap for retirement, creating strategies to minimize taxes, or guiding business owners through succession planning, I focus on delivering comprehensive solutions that align with my clients’ long-term goals.

What types of strategies do you usually help clients with?

Clients, like fingerprints, are unique in terms of what they need to achieve financial success. My job is to meet with clients and learn what they are trying to achieve and gauge where they are currently at in relation to that goal. From there, I build and execute financial plans that integrate the right types of accounts and investments needed to achieve your financial goals. Generally speaking, if your questions revolve around money, investing, taxes, or legacy planning, you're talking to the right person.

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart?

My approach is rooted in empowering clients with knowledge so they feel confident not only in the recommendations we implement, but also in understanding why those strategies are the right fit for their goals. I take pride in breaking down complex financial concepts and presenting them in a clear, approachable way—ensuring that even novice investors can feel comfortable and engaged in the process. This emphasis on education and transparency is designed to help my clients make informed decisions, and ultimately builds the confidence they need to stay on track toward long-term financial success.

What is your favorite part about working with clients?

My favorite part of working with clients is that it allows me to live out my calling to serve others. From a young age, I watched my parents face financial struggles, and it was difficult not being able to help. That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to personal finance so I could make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a Financial Planner, I have the privilege of helping clients gain clarity and confidence in their financial futures. Knowing that the guidance I provide may offer an immediate, positive impact on someone’s life is both deeply rewarding and what drives me every single day.

Working with Savvy

Working with Savvy has given me the freedom to focus on what matters most: my clients. The platform is designed to streamline much of the non-client-facing work that can take up an advisor’s time, allowing me to spend more energy on building relationships and delivering personalized guidance. By taking operational tasks off my plate, I believe Savvy enables me to be a better advisor and connect with even more people who can benefit from thoughtful financial planning.
