Get to know Kevin

Kevin Beutel, MBA, is a dedicated Wealth Manager in Albany, NY. His passion for financial guidance was sparked while working as a controller for an excavating company. Volunteering to teach a financial literacy course for a local nonprofit revealed his deep satisfaction in educating others and helping them achieve their next financial milestones.

Inspired by this experience, and having witnessed the significant financial challenges and lack of professional guidance faced by the blue-collar workers at the excavating company during the 2008 financial crisis, Kevin launched his career as a financial advisor. He subsequently returned to school to earn an MBA with a Master’s Level Certificate in Financial Planning.

Early in his career, he also assisted several federal clients with their taxes, which motivated him to specialize in navigating the complexities of federal benefits.

In 2025, Kevin joined Savvy. He was drawn to the firm's technology, which allows him to streamline administrative tasks and dedicate more personal time to assisting clients. Outside the office, Kevin enjoys the natural beauty of Upstate New York through activities like woodworking, gardening, hiking, and occasional kayaking with his wife.
