Lindsey K. Leaverton, AWMA®
Hey y'all! I'm Lindsey - a Private Wealth Advisor who believes peace of mind isn't found in projections; it's built through partnership. I help clients turn financial complexity into clarity, designing personalized roadmaps that lead to real, sustainable freedom. I'm especially passionate about working with dynamic women ready to reclaim their financial power (or claim it for the very first time). My work blends the analytical and the intuitive: a neurodivergent, creative brain that sees patterns differently and an obsessive attention to detail that ensures nothing slips through the cracks. My approach is holistic and human, rooted in empathy, education, and collaboration. Because the best plans aren't built for you... they're built with you. After all, time is our greatest asset, and money's just the tool that buys us back the moments that matter.
“Money matters, but it’s just the tool. The real goal is helping people spend their time the way they want, with purpose and presence. And honestly, I love the collaboration, building the blueprint together and walking the path side by side. That’s where the real magic happens.”

The story of how I found myself in financial services is best told over drinks (bourbon, preferably). The short version? I was recruited. Fifteen years ago, while waiting tables at a seafood restaurant, a banking executive sat in my section and somehow convinced me to come work with her. Saying yes to that one table was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
My expertise spans tax strategy, asset allocation, equity compensation, retirement income planning, and holistic financial planning, with specialized experience serving dynamic women, the LGBTQ+ community, and neurodivergent individuals. I also guide business owners through succession and exit planning, including post-sale strategies that align wealth with purpose and passion. My work integrates trust and estate planning, legacy strategies, and philanthropic giving, leveraging tools like donor-advised funds to maximize both impact and tax efficiency. Additional areas of focus include education planning, employer benefit optimization, and investment analysis to ensure every dollar is working toward my clients’ goals. All of my services are delivered through a values-based, holistic approach designed to create clarity, confidence, and long-term peace of mind.
I specialize in financial planning and asset management for independent women who are ready to take their financial power back or claim it for the first time. I also love working with high-income couples, usually parents, who want clarity, confidence, and a trusted partner to help simplify their financial lives. My clients include entrepreneurs, business owners, and C-suite executives navigating complex compensation structures and equity packages, people who want their money strategy to finally match the life they’re building. While I currently serve a diverse group of clients, my focus at Savvy Wealth is becoming even more intentional, centering my practice around those who want to build wealth on purpose. Most of my clients are in their forties and fifties, looking for someone they can collaborate with and confidently delegate to. My favorite clients are the curious ones, the ones who ask questions, want to learn, and value education as much as outcomes.
I focus on tax planning and optimization because they are crucial aspects to consider when managing your finances. By strategizing efficient ways to minimize tax liabilities and maximize savings, my clients can plan for the future. Additionally, I also help clients with retirement planning, Investment management, and cash flow planning because they are essential for maintaining a healthy financial balance.
I design and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with each client’s goals, values, and lifestyle. My work focuses on tax-efficient investing, retirement planning, equity compensation, and trust and estate integration, ensuring every part of a financial plan works together so we’re all reading from the same sheet of music. I also guide clients through business exit and liquidity event planning, helping them navigate major transitions with clarity and confidence. Other strategies often include tax bracket management, philanthropic giving, and diversified investment approaches, including access to alternative investments such as private credit and private equity. Above all, my focus is holistic planning, keeping clients on track, informed, and supported as their plans evolve. Because at the end of the day, a plan is only as good as the person who walks it with you.
What sets me apart is simple: I’m real. I’m not your typical financial advisor, unless your typical advisor drinks too much coffee, listens to Beyoncé for motivation, and can turn a tax strategy into a teachable moment and a laugh. I take my work seriously, but not myself. My approach blends creativity with precision, heart with logic. As a neurodivergent nerd, I see patterns differently. It’s where numbers meet narrative and spreadsheets meet soul. I’m a straight shooter who tells clients what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear. No jargon, no sales pitch, just clarity, honesty, and partnership. As a single mom and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, empathy is built into everything I do. My clients trust me not just with their portfolios but with their peace of mind. My mission is to make wealth management feel human again: strategic, collaborative, and grounded in trust.
I live for the ah-ha moment when everything clicks and a client realizes, “Oh… this is working.” It’s the deep breath, the shoulders dropping, that quiet shift from pressure to peace. That’s when I know the plan we’ve built together is doing its job, creating freedom, flexibility, and confidence. Money matters, but it’s just the tool. The real goal is helping people spend their time the way they want, with purpose and presence. And honestly, I love the collaboration, building the blueprint together and walking the path side by side. That’s where the real magic happens.
What I value most about Savvy is the freedom and flexibility to show up as the kind of advisor my clients truly deserve, the mom my kids need, and the human I want to be. After years of being buried under admin tasks, paperwork, and chaotic minutia that pulled me away from what actually matters, my clients, Savvy gives me the space to focus on the work that lights me up: helping folks feel good about where they are financially and where they're headed. The platform empowers me to deliver advice with total independence, transparency, and authenticity, without the noise or archaic tech of traditional firms. It's also allowed me to create a genuine work-life blend, so I can be fully present as both an advisor and a mom to my twin teenagers. That balance - between purpose and presence - is everything to me.
