How did you become a financial advisor?

I found my way into the profession by following my interests and curiosity. After taking my first college finance class (I loved it!), I began tutoring the course the next semester. I then sought out an internship with a large independent wealth management firm. I had the opportunity to witness senior advisors in action and meet with clients and I was hooked. I joined the firm full-time after graduating from college, earned my CFPÂź certification, and ultimately became a Wealth Manager, serving dozens of high-net-worth families.

What types of clients do you work with?

I work with individuals and families who value thoughtful, proactive planning and want a long-term partner to help simplify their financial lives. My clients typically fall into one of three groups: Individuals and families preparing for a tax-efficient retirement; business owners navigating growth, succession, or a future sale; and professionals with equity compensation or concentrated stock positions.

What areas of expertise do you have? 

I specialize in complex estate and wealth transfer planning, tax strategies that minimize lifetime income taxes, and designing sustainable, tax-efficient retirement income plans. My investment approach is deeply tax-aware, ensuring clients keep more of what they earn. I also work closely with business owners on succession planning and preparing for generational transitions or future liquidity events.

What types of strategies do you usually help clients with? 

I help clients target long-term tax reductions through thoughtful Roth conversion strategies, diversify concentrated equity positions using tools like direct indexing, and build clear, actionable estate plans. I also create detailed retirement savings and spending plans that help clients understand what’s possible and confidently prepare for the future.

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart?

I don’t take the position of trust I’ve earned lightly. I believe this profession is a noble calling, and I’m grateful to facilitate meaningful conversations that clients often aren’t having anywhere else. By creating space for those deeper discussions, I help uncover the true essence of their goals, values, and aspirations. From there, we build a plan that not only provides clear financial guidance, but also is designed to help clients use their resources to live more intentional, fulfilling lives.
