How did you become a financial advisor?

I started my career as a design engineer for a Tier 1 automotive supplier while earning my MBA, which sparked my interest in business and finance. When the automotive industry experienced major disruptions in 2009, I saw an opportunity to apply my analytical skills in a new way — helping people navigate financial questions instead of mechanical ones. I began my advisory career with MassMutual in 2009, later moving to an independent practice before joining Savvy.

What types of clients do you work with?

I primarily work with professionals in engineering, technology, and other analytical fields — people who appreciate structure, clarity, and a methodical approach to their finances. Many of my clients are detail-oriented and data-driven, and they often value having someone who can translate complex financial topics into understandable, actionable information.

What areas of expertise do you have?

My expertise lies in comprehensive financial planning. I focus on integrating investments, taxes, risk management, and retirement considerations into a cohesive approach. I like to approach each client’s financial picture like an engineering project — define objectives, analyze the variables, and design a plan that aligns with what matters most.

What types of strategies do you usually help clients with?

I often work with clients on retirement planning, tax optimization, and risk management. My goal is to make financial decision-making clearer and to help clients understand the reasoning behind each step, so they can feel confident in the process.

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart?

I follow a framework I call Organize, Explore, Execute. My approach emphasizes transparency and collaboration. I start by organizing your financial picture, then explore goals and opportunities together, and finally execute a structured plan. I see financial planning as an ongoing process rather than a one-time event, which allows us to adjust as priorities evolve.

What is your favorite part about working with clients?

I enjoy helping clients gain perspective and clarity around their financial lives. I like working alongside them to explore goals, evaluate options, and create a structure that reflects their priorities. It’s rewarding to see clients better understand their finances and feel more confident in the decisions they make.

Working with Savvy

I joined Savvy for a platform that combines independence with innovation. The collaborative, technology-driven environment allows me to focus on working directly with clients while using tools that make planning more organized and easier to engage with.
