Hi, I’m Trent. After starting my career at several independent firms in Michigan, I launched my own RIA at 26, building it from the ground up over seven years in Traverse City. My family and I later relocated to Southwest Florida, where I briefly joined a local Naples firm before returning to full independence—where my focus and passion truly lie.

Today, I guide clients as they prepare for retirement. These are often business owners, executives, and other successful professionals who are now asking deeper questions about their "second act." I also work with self-directed investors seeking a gradual, thoughtful transition to collaborating with a financial advisor.

Outside the office, you can find me at North Naples CrossFit, cycling with Naples Velo, or spending time with my wife and our two young daughters.

Trent brings 12 years of experience as a wealth manager. He began his career sharpening his expertise at independent firms, and by 26, he had founded and led his own RIA in Traverse City for over seven years. Relocating to Southwest Florida, Trent returned to independent practice, dedicating his skills to professionals, executives, and business owners aged 50-65 navigating the transition to retirement. He also guides self-directed investors seeking a consultative advisory approach.

How did you become a financial advisor?

I gained experience through several internships, which helped me understand the industry better. Additionally, a strong focus on word-of-mouth networking proved incredibly effective in making connections and opening doors to new opportunities to help me build my own business.

Typically, they are in the 50-65 age range and are seeking guidance on how to adjust to this new phase of life. I help clients navigate the transition into retirement. We aim for a smooth, strategic transition with retirement income planning, personalized retirement lifestyle coaching, and strive for optimal retirement timing strategies.

  • Crafting tax-optimized retirement income streams: I explore various strategies to structure my clients' retirement income in a way that aims to maximize after-tax returns, so they may keep more of their hard-earned money.
