Our Team

Sara, Susan, and Jackie, colleagues for years, founded Sorelle Wealth Partners to make a meaningful impact on women’s lives and to help them create financial plans to achieve their goals with confidence. They each have their areas of focus and different backgrounds in the wealth management space but share the mission of partnering with women to take ownership in their finances. In addition to working with women, many of their clients include couples, families, and men who are interested in taking a more holistic, coaching-based approach.

Get to know Susan

Susan brings 25 years of deep expertise in wealth management, estate planning, and tax strategy, but what truly sets her apart is her ability to translate that technical depth into real-world clarity and support for women navigating life transitions.

Whether you're facing divorce, retirement, loss, career change, or a sudden windfall, Susan helps you take control of your financial future with confidence and purpose. She understands the emotional complexity behind money decisions, especially during times of change, and empowers clients to align their financial strategies with their personal values and long-term vision.

Before co-founding Sorelle Wealth Partners, Susan built her career as a trusted advisor to high net-worth individuals, families, and private foundations. She practiced tax and estate law at an international law firm and later became a partner at a national accounting firm and shareholder at a Top 100 Registered Investment Advisory firm*. Today, Susan combines that deep, technical know-how with a coaching mindset, helping clients to not only minimize taxes and protect and grow their assets but also move forward with clarity, courage, and control.

A lifelong midwesterner, Susan, her husband, Scott, and their four children relocated to sunny Highland Beach, Florida in 2021. Outside of work, Susan enjoys cooking and boating (though she’s still a novice captain!).

How did you become a financial advisor?

I started my career as a tax and estate planning attorney, helping clients navigate complex legal and tax issues. Over time, I realized that while I was solving important pieces of the puzzle, many clients needed broader, more integrated advice, covering not just taxes and estate planning, but investments, retirement, and overall financial strategy and coaching. I became a financial advisor because I wanted to offer that comprehensive planning, helping clients make better decisions across every aspect of their financial lives.

What areas of expertise do you have?

My areas of expertise include tax, estate and multi-generational wealth strategies, financial planning and planning for life transitions such as divorce or the death of a spouse.

What types of clients do you work with?

I enjoy serving individuals, couples, and families who want a coaching-forward, integrated approach to managing their wealth and value technical expertise in the areas of tax minimization, estate planning and financial planning. I have a particular passion for helping women navigate major life transitions—whether that’s divorce, the loss of a spouse, retirement, or sudden wealth. These moments bring unique financial and emotional challenges, and I see it as my role to help clients not only manage the complexities but also create a vision for the future that feels both grounded and empowering.

What types of strategies do you usually help clients with?

Using my multi-disciplinary education and experience, I help clients with a wide range of strategies, all tailored to their specific goals and life stage. This includes tax planning, multi-generational wealth transfer, retirement income planning, estate and legacy planning, and strategies for major life transitions like divorce, widowhood, or career changes. I also work closely with clients on cash flow planning, charitable giving, and business transitions, including the sale of a business to family members.

Is there a unique approach that sets you apart?

My unique approach lies in combining deep technical expertise with a coaching-based, client-centered approach. My background as a tax and estate planning attorney allows me to handle complex financial situations with precision, but I know that the best planning involves helping clients connect their financial decisions to their life goals, values, and priorities. It’s a more holistic, collaborative process that empowers clients to feel confident and in control, especially during times of transition.

What is your favorite part about working with clients?

My favorite part of working with clients is helping them feel clear, confident, and in control of their financial lives—especially during times of transition. I also really enjoy the strategic side: helping clients reach their financial goals through smart planning, tax-efficient strategies, and building portfolios that truly reflect their intentions and values. It’s the combination of clarity, strategy, and purpose that makes the work so rewarding.
